So hands up who actually uses there imagination?


If i was to say i was now going to play with my imaginary friend, my unicorn called sally and my little purple elf friend you would think crazy women go phone the men in white coats lol
I fell us adults don't use our imagination half as much as we should or we try to hide it afraid we will be classed as odd or mad.


I was watching my 4 year old boy playing this morning.Which i do  on many occasions. I am fascinated by his imagination and what comes from it that it totally amazes me.


Then it occurred to me how old was i when i lost mine. Maybe it was when i was in the grumpy teenager years the time when we are trying to find our selves maybe? The time when we are more likely to be judged. But whenever it happened it should not have. We should never lose our imagination its somewhere we can go when we are sad or in need of a cheer up.
So lets all go and find our imagination again. I have started to.


Go play have fun let our inner child be set free. 


If you have trouble go watch a child or even play with them you will be sure to find it.


Imagination is our greatest weapon find your inner child today .

Welcoming Molly into the Family :-)

So Molly entered our life on Monday and she as already got us all wrapped around her little paw .We never set out to have another dog but the Goddess must have thought we needed new life in our lives and with it being Ostara i thought why not (didn't need much persuading ) lol We had her off my brother who's dog had had puppies ten weeks earlier. I had deliberately not gone to see them as i knew i would want one. But my brother asked me if i would like one as he was having problems selling the last couple to good homes.

Now since Monday night my sleep pattern as gone to pot its like having another baby lol, my boy as gone even more hyper wanting to play with this adorable little puppy and my other dog wants nothing to do with her yet but i am sure they will eventually grow to love each other . 

has you can see she is lovely and i am sure you will see more pictures of her over the next couple of weeks .

Being Diabetic sucks

I come from a family of diabetics a long line of  them that you would think i would know by now everything about the disease and what happens to you if you don't control it. Well i do but i have chose to ignore it really push it to the back of my mind since i found out that i had it about a year ago. In this year i have chosen not to visit the doctor or take treatment of any sorts. I suppose you would say i was in denial and i suppose yes i was.

Now after a year i am finally realising i need to go back to the doctors its just plucking up the courage to go as i fear they are going to tell me off lol (I am a wuss) when it comes to health things with me i hate being touched But lately my symptoms are worse and my blood sugars are higher than ever and i cant get them down no matter how much i try to do the things you are suppose to do there still not coming down.

This week as been a bad week on the health front and i also got my AF which when you have been trying to conceive for the last 2 years doesn't help even though i knew she was coming because we haven't tried with my levels being high it still hurts. I also think the reason for this is because i am diabetic i cant get pregnant again.

So tomorrow i will book an appointment for the doctors that's if i can get in 

 Yes i do know there are people having a worse time than me i just needed a moan x

Dragon dream

From when I first started to meditate I have had a Dragon appear in my meditations. His name is Cabou and has I see him he is friendly but you wouldn't want to upset him. I go for long rides on his back and it feels magical. I have always felt safe. We have visited mother moon and flew through the night sky. His large very large and he can change colour within his environment. He as taken me to his home, he never speaks but I always seem to know what his thinking or asking me to do. We have great respect for each other.


Last night was the first time he has appeared in my dream. It was a very exciting dream and his colour changed loads of times. I was really enjoying this dream this i can remember. But then i was woken by my son wanting the toilet arrrggg lol I so wanted to get back to that dream but it wasn't happening . I am hoping he will appear now more in my dreams.


I was wondering if any of you know wot these meditations and dreams mean and if some how his trying to tell me something. If anyone as any opinions on this please let me know and hopefully it means I am not going madder than I already am lol

Dark Moon Poem

Mother to Crone you are tonight,

I see stars shining bright,

But you are resting and gaining strength,

Ready to be Maiden then Mother once more,

So as you rest so will I,

To gain our strengh together,

So we will gain power

To send our energies out to Mother nature,

Start of something new

So here's to the start of my new blog and what a time to start on Imbolc and to mark that I found this path almost a year today and what a wonderful path i have chosen. I have learnt so much and met many lovely people who i am proud to call my sisters and brothers.


I have always loved nature and watching the change of seasons. I have a love of the moon since i was a little girl i was fascinated by this bright round ball in the sky and to me it always had the face of a lady and i gain so much comfort from her .


I have became very drawn to the Celtic path recently maybe its because i feel that is were my roots lie and the fact i live in the heart of Mercia and feel a strong connection. I am reading and learning all the time.


OK that's it for now as i need to prepare for tonight and honour Brighid.


I wish i could have a big open fire tonight those of you that will are so lucky to live somewhere were you can do that. So i will be lighting loads of candles

Starting New Blog

OK well  I have decided to start a blog again and hopefully stick to this one lol

This will be my little corner of the web were i will discuss my life good and bad  and also display my crafty projects, stories , photographs , and poetry .
